Self Portrait in Progression

I thought I might do a little 4X6 painting, and put up a progression of it as it goes... So this is the first step: a quick charcoal sketch on a piece of primed board. I used compressed charcoal, a smudge stick, some beer, and a kneaded eraser. I'll be posting each step I do through the process!
